General Paediatrics
Comprehensive health assessment and management for any medical concerns from newborn to young adulthood.
Disability & Neurodevelopmental care
Caring for children with complex disability including cerebral palsy, physical disability and genetic conditions. Providing functional assessments and high level medical management, liaising with multidisciplinary teams and ongoing health surveillance.
Developmental & Behavioural Paediatrics
Detailed assessment of developmental concerns- global or specific. Including Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment and diagnosis, Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessment and management, intellectual disability, learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural regulation challenges.
Infant & Early Childhood services
Some examples such as newborn assessments, feeding and growth concerns, early developmental concerns, reflux and colic and parenting support.
Chronic Disease Management
Ongoing management and support of any long term health concerns, such as asthma, allergies, eczema, constipation, gastrointestinal concerns, headaches, migraines, recurrent infections and complex medical care co-ordination.
Adolescent Health
Some examples such as puberty and growth concerns, acute and chronic illness management, mental health screening and support, lifestyle health and transitioning into young adulthood.
Care Coordination & Advocacy
Liaising with other members of the health team (allied health specialists, GP, etc) and broader network (school, support services) to provide comprehensive team based care. Advocacy for educational and support services. Medical and lifestyle transition planning moving from paediatric to adult services.
