Fees
We aim for full transparency with fees and any additional potential costs associated with seeing a specialist Paediatrician. We endeavour to provide comprehensive, holistic care and appreciate that families need to plan when it comes to healthcare costs.
Bella Vita Paediatrics is a private clinic and no bulk billing appointments are offered. We require full payment of your account on the day of consultation. We accept card only payment via e-payment with a link sent to your mobile at the end of the consultation.
To claim a rebate from Medicare, a valid referral from your GP or specialist is required. GP referrals are valid for 12 months and specialist referrals for 3 months from the date of your first review.
Medicare rebates will be applied automatically, but for this to occur, your child must attend their appointment (including telehealth appointments). If there is sensitive information you would like to discuss without them present, please bring a support person for your child so you can discuss this with the doctor.
Private health insurance does not cover medical appointments with Paediatricians.
Cancellations
We require AT LEAST 48 hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment as this allows us to offer it to other patients.
Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full cost of the consultation.
Fees need to paid at the time of cancellation to allow for future appointment booking.
